Mike Riley loves getting things done and he also loves singing the praises of 16mm Garden Railways. He is presently the Secretary of the 16mm Association and our Secretary here at Butterley.
Mike got an invitation to create a display layout for the Large Scale Modex at Wirksworth in collaboration with the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. Not one to miss an opportunity he decided to expand his long standing Modular Layout sections into a full layout to be called LLantaliog Valley Railway.
This was only going to work if Mike could enlist the help of BGRA Members to run and to help setting up. Everything seemed to work out well even though many members were on holiday or busy that weekend.
Some great photos were taken and I've tried to link up to some relevant sites on the Web.
Mike, Dave and James took the photos.

Mike's layout set up and tested on the Friday.
Mike said, "Some teething problems", but it looks great.
